The Orthopaedic Institute is participating* with the following plans and accepts most out of network benefits:

  • Aetna PPO, POS, HMO, and Medicare Advantage Plans 
  • Blue Cross Blue Shield PPC, PPO, Network Blue, Blue Select, and Blue Options Plans (excluding HMO and Medicare Advantage plans)
  • Cigna PPO, POS, and select HMO plans
  • Medicare
  • Meritain Health 

*Participation is subject to change at any time and varies by plan type and product.  Please check with your insurance payer for network status.

We encourage you to verify your benefits with your insurance carrier prior to scheduling a consultation. If you do not see your plan listed, we may still be able to accept your plan and bill your insurance on your behalf. However, this may be at a higher out-of-network rate depending on your benefits. You are responsible for knowing your insurance coverage, policy provisions, exclusions, and limitations as well as authorization requirements. The Orthopaedic Institute offers competitive cash pricing.

After-Hours Appointments: For patients wishing to be seen on short notice, we offer a limited number of after-hours appointments for new and established patients at a fee of $200 due at the time of service.

Cancellation Policy: The Orthopaedic Institute will charge $75 per missed appointment or for failure to cancel a scheduled appointment with at least 24 hours’ notice. No Show or cancellation fees are not covered by insurance, and must be paid prior to your next appointment. Multiple “no show or missed appointments” in any 12 month period may result in termination from our practice.

The after-hour appointment and cancellation fees are not reimbursable by your health insurance company or Medicare. You are still required to pay any copays, deductible or co-insurance fees due in addition to these fees at the time of services being rendered.
